Trails are awesome: well groomed, good variety. Most times I've been there's been great snow. Staff is friendly. Prices – even on food – are good which is a contrast to alpine resorts where it seems like they just want to gouge.
Really fun place for a first experience with mountain biking. Affordable, nice bicycles for rent with helmets.
The Craftsbury Outdoor Center is one of my favorite spots in VT due to the friendly environment and plethura of options available to entertain the whole family. From biking, swimming, canoeing and kayaking, skulling, cross country skiing, a beautiful gym, and miles upon miles of backwood trails, you will not go wrong choosing this as a getaway location or simply to stop in for a day.
